Last 10 plus years I was the full time care giver for my mom who was a kidney patient (dialysis, medicine induced diabetic), auto-immune Patient which led to head and neck cancer and dad (COPD, Emphysema) before they passed. I enjoy caring for everyone, but the elderly hold a special place in my heart. Listening to them reminisce about the things they did when they were younger is one of my favorite things. They may not remember what they ate for breakfast, but watching their eyes light up when they tell me about a first love, a best friend from school or anything from their younger days fills my heart with joy. Previous experience in cancer care, dialysis care, COPD, emphysema, dementia, diabetic care and special needs. CPR/AED certified

I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where you have one-on-one interaction with others. Just the fact of taking care of elder family members and helping others in this way. I feel you can get along well with a variety of elders. Also, doing work that has the potential to make a difference in someone's life.

I'm passionate about helping others. It's something I don't think twice about. I've been a caregiver to many throughout the years and I feel it's my purpose in life. I enjoy helping those of all ages. I started caregiving at a young age with my baby brother and it's continued with other family members.
