Last 10 plus years I was the full time care giver for my mom who was a kidney patient (dialysis, medicine induced diabetic), auto-immune Patient which led to head and neck cancer and dad (COPD, Emphysema) before they passed. I enjoy caring for everyone, but the elderly hold a special place in my heart. Listening to them reminisce about the things they did when they were younger is one of my favorite things. They may not remember what they ate for breakfast, but watching their eyes light up when they tell me about a first love, a best friend from school or anything from their younger days fills my heart with joy. My name is Bianca Wright and I am a 24 year old mother of twin boys. I got into the health care field because, after I had my boys, I wanted to be able to able to help people like the nurses in the hospital helped me. They were so kind and compassionate toward me and my family and since then, I've been involved with home health care. Around the beginning of this year (2017) I started working with a close family friend who fell sick at the time. They have since past on but working with this family friend gave me a lot of experience with in-home patient care. For example I can wash, feed, position, transfer, provide ROM's exercises, provide denture care and catheter care as well as collet vitals signs. I currently have little experience when it comes to clients I've worked with however I have completed my CNA certification as well as having some experience working with my close family friend.
