I have being a caregiver for almost 20 years caring for the geratric population and young adults with cerebral palsy. I usually care from my H onesty E empathy A accountability T trustworthy to build a professional relationship with my clients to provide safe and quality care.

I have five years prior experience as a CNA and have worked in both a hospital environment and also a handful of Long Term Care facilities. I was a travel CNA my last two years of work so I got to travel many different places locally to help with care in my area! I take great pride in my work as a caregiver and think that every person should be treated like family. I took a short break from healthcare and ventured out only to realize that this is my true calling! I love caring for people, its so rewarding for me!!!

I began my journey 8 years ago when I became a certified nursing assistant. I have worked in long term care facilities, skilled nursing facilities, memory care facilities, hospice, and the hospital. Hi !, my name is Cindy and I love care giving because it allows me to give back to the community with its wisest members, our elderly! I have twenty years experience as a care giver. I have ten years of live in experience and are trying to find a position which will allow me to spend more time with my disabled son. I'm a very friendly socially outgoing person and usually I end up very fast friends with my clients and their families. I usually can get them to bathe in no time because I am persuasive and professional! People will begin to eat healthier because I am an excellent cook and I pay close attention to nutrition. I am timely and can fill medi planners and recommend vitamins and supplements . In fact I'm gearing up for certification in herbology and functional nutrition. I'm also getting recertification in CPR locally. I'm considering certification in dementia care as well. I have worked and studied dementia in non credited format. I feel staying engaged is paramount in maintaining a healthy lifestyles in advanced years of life. I love arts and crafts and design projects for us to complete with interest and enthusiasm! Sometimes I sketch my clients and they enjoy this activity. I bring board games for fun and can play cards as well. I also attend church and stay close in my church community.
