I have been a CNA for 30 +years. Ten or more of those years as a Caregiver, also. I have experience in long-term and short-term care. I have training in home health, hospice, palliative care, private sitter, and companion care. I work as a attendant now with At Home Healthcare, United Healthcare and a Diamond Professional Caregiver with CareLinx. I've taken the academy classes with CareLinx so I could refresh my skills. I have passed my background screening and I am CPR certified, too. I enjoy working with seniors because some of them have lived some adventurous lives. My greatest achievement is making a difference in their lives and they tell you so. When your day is over you know you have done your best. You can look up and smile.

I am a very loving, outgoing, positive person! I decided I wanted to be a caregiver when I started helping take care of my grandpa and going to work with my mom as a child. Being around the elderly helping them and making them feel good made me the happiest person! What I enjoy the most!? I could go on! I enjoy walking in everyday knowing they are looking forward to seeing me, I look forward to making their day and making them smile and feel good about themselves. I enjoy working with clients and making them happy and seeing them smile when you walk into their door. They know when you are there that you are there for them. I took care of my own mother from 2014 to 2017. She had cancer and dementia and sometimes she couldn't remember who I was. I always loved seeing her smile when I came to take care of her. My greatest thing is that I went to college and got my degree in Health Care Management. Just in case I get hired by someone, I need to let them know that I am allergic to cats so they will know this upfront.
