I have many years of experience working in retirement homes and in- home care . I've always treated every client like they were a member of my family and I would want them to have the best care possible . As a caregiver I give the clients family peace of mind that their loves ones are well cared for when they can't be there . I'm a caring and loving person who has empathy and compassion for people who are in need of care . I love hearing story of our clients life and pass experiences . My goal as a caregiver is to make someone day a little brighter and to put a smile on there face . I have the most rewarding job .

Hi, I'm Tasha, I am looking forward to working with amazing people. I have been in health care my entire life in one way or another. I have worked im nursing homes, assisted living and in private homes. I have cared for people "from the cradle to the grave". I have worked with people with different degrees of mental, physiological and developmental status. I love conversation, I learn so much by just conversing. I believe that, if one wants to, any encounter can be a learning experience. I treat those I care for (clients), as I would treat anyone I cared for (family, friends). As a client, you are someone's "something" parent, child, spouse, sibling, etc. And you, as a person, are worthy of positive interactions, relationships, and a quality of life. My job is to relate that to you, in action and in thought. You have a right to be the person you were meant to be. You are the only one in control, you know your wants and desires, who am I to judge you, or talk against you and your wishes. I am not saying that EVERYTHING you want will be handed to you, but..is it really a big deal if you have dessert before or after a meal? I've worked with a lot of people (cradle to the grave) who have others put "demands" and "ought toos" and "shouldn't haves" on their loved ones. With moderation, does it really matter if the shower is given day or at night? Pending other plans, but, my life has been a struggle, why complicate it more with unnecessary "demands" all the time. I hope our time together will be meaningful and we can learn something new from each other along the way.

First, I'm a very firm believer in "Do onto others, as you would have them done onto you." I was raised to always respect everyone, care about people even if they might not deserve it, because a small amount of care just might change someone's entire attitude of life. So, with that being said care givers are the people who are there for someone when no one else is. I am a care giver because in this ugly world, one thing is for sure... Everybody needs somebody.
