Hello, my name is Nikyta! I have been with the home health care field since 2016. I began as a home health aide after high school graduation and entered Angelina College Community Program to become a Certified Nurse Assistant in the year of 2018. In the year of 2019, I wanted to have a geographical experience to where I wanted to see how the physical world shaped such as rivers, mountains, and climate, but also to see how the physical world shapes the people that lives there too. So I began the process of becoming a traveling Certified Nurse Assistant. I did this as I was also working in skilled nursing facility in my community. Unfortunately, life had disrupted this plan to where I could not renew my CNA state license in 2020. Covid emerged, but I courageously gave care to my patients that courageously stayed during the hard times. I stayed connected via phone to the patients that made the difficult but wise decision for themselves and loved ones to let go of their attendant. I enjoy socializing with my patients by them getting to know and me getting to know them. I love to cook to where at the end of high school I debated to got to a culinary school too. I enjoy learning different cleaning techniques because not everyone cleans with the same chemicals or way due to different cultures and many contributing factors. I am an online University part-time student. Attending Southern New Hampshire University pursuing a BA in Social Psychology since 2022 as I work part-time as a home health giver and voluntary work with my community.

I'm an 43 year old health care worker I've worked in many health fields I'm currently working in dialysis but I'm studying to go take my CNA BOARD I've always done the work but wasn't certified I love what I do and the change I make in most peoples lives. I have been a CNA since September 2002. When I initially took the course, I was doing it for the paycheck. It didn't take long to realize and understand that no amount of money could make me feel as wonderful as what providing care for the elderly did\does. I have tried to go in to other areas of employment, but my heart is in Nursing. I truly believe that this is my calling. By January 2019, I will be enrolled in the LVN program through HMH in Huntsville, TX. Some thing that I have been simply dreaming about. I have Grandparents and other people that I care deeply about. Each and every time I come in contact with a patient\resident, I care for them and treat them as I EXPECT for some one in my own family to be treated. I play close attention to detail and act swiftly if there are any concerns of any kind.

I have been working with elderly for over 10 years and I'm experienced in Alzheimer's disease care, dementia, feeding tube, cancer, Parkinson's, brain tumors, terminally ill, and strokes.I am familiar with the use of a hoyer lift, and gait belt I also have experience in assisting patients with bath as well as transporting them to and from Dr.s appointment. I have reliable transportation and references available.
