I've worked as a Care Giver for more than 15 years. I have an extensive amount of experience, and I am honest and committed to my work. My mother was why I'm so motivated to work as a care giver. I loved my mom, and as she grew older, I've helped and assisted her continuously, and I recognized the skill and effort that is needed for care giving. After that, I took classes and started a job with DHS. My employers are always happy with my work, and I'm always there to help, and I'll be there when I'm needed.

What are your personality traits or expertise that help you be a great caregiver? - As an artist, I tend to see the little things that many overlook. I have been told by many of my clients, coworkers, friends and family, that I am a calming spirit to be around. I have experience working with individuals with physical and psychiatric disabilities. What attracted you to being a caregiver? - I always loved people and have a motherly desire to care for others. What do you enjoy most about being a caregiver? - I love hearing about the people's lives and connecting with them. -- I am teaching my son American Sign Language, while I am not fluent I do hope to be one day. I also understand a little bit of Spanish, although I can read it better than speak it.
