I'm currently have 3 National Medical Certifications. Getting ready to graduate with a bachelor degree in sociology. I'm headed to grad school after graduation. I love taking care of individuals with physical mental or emotional disorders. I have a heart of gold and enjoy sharing my skills to help individuals that can not take care of themselves.

I became a caregiver in April of 2009 to help my grandmother during her final days. I spent many days and nights helping her around the house, to move about and really got to see the importance of what I was doing for her. Being able to offer my heart, time and energy to help her with her daily routine was more than rewarding for me at the end of the day. I thank God everyday for molding me into a Caregiver, I want to continue my studies to become a Register Nurse someday.

Becoming a caregiver always been a prioritized career choice of mine because I always was drawn to taking care of others, especially those who don't have the mobility to do for themselves. Making a difference in someone else life always always been an inspiration because I have the experience and ability to make a difference in theirs. I became a caregiver simply to help elderly adults that can no longer help themselves. I love helping them continue to do the things they were used to in the privacy of their own homes. I love cooking, cleaning, and assisting my clients with personal care. With my assistance the elderly get to "Grow old Gracefully with Dignity" in their own home. No money can give me the satisfaction of seeing the smiles on their face, and the peace in their presence. I'm a Christian, that feels like it's everyone's duty to help your neighbors.

What makes me a great Caregiver is God's Love and Compassion I Have for people. My Passion is taking care of the elderly. I have a Wonderful and Bubbly personality that will change the atmosphere when I walk in. What attracted me to being a caregiver because I took care of my granda which suffered from being partially Blind and suffered from Prostate Cancer until he passed away at 97. I took care of my aunt which suffered with Kidney problems back and forth to dialysis and she suffered a stroke on Left side. I also was a Live in for two brothers one with Cancer and one with Diabetes with one leg amputation. There is nothing really more to say is that I took care of them because I love helping people and they requested me to be their caregivers. This is what attracted me , It felt so me like this was what I was born to do. What I Love the Most about being a Caregiver is Listening at their stories and making them happy. I Love going beyond to make sure they are comfortable.. What I mean going beyond. I may massage their hurting hands, Legs and feet or cook their favorite meal or transport them to an outing to get some fresh air. Just to help them stay Mobile and keep their spirits alive. Sometimes they lose their confidence and they need their nails or toes Polished or assist them with things they used to do that they thought was gone. My Personal achievement that I am proud of is starting my own Business.
