I have been a care giver for over 30 years now. It started when I was 17 years old working in a neighborhood coffee shop that seniors dined at regularly. I would overhear them speaking of tasks they could not take care of around their house by themselves. That's when I started offering to come over after work to help them. Then sometimes a husband would come in without a wife or a wife without a husband and I would ask where the other one was, they would reply they were sick at home. I would then asked if I could do anything or check in on them and they really appreciated it. Eventually I gave up my job at the coffee shop and became a full time caregiver. I love working with people while it makes a difference in their life.

I become a caregiver because I enjoy taking care of elderlies. It is satisfying to see them happy and enjoying life with the loving care I give. I like to bring change to a family - a change that sees improvement from the day I first arrive. I had been a Caregiver for the last 11 years and had worked privately as well as through agencies.
