I am a great caregiver because I will treat each person I care for with dignity, respect and kindness. I am responsible and dedicated to this line of work. I will help with maintaining a clean and comfortable as well as safe environment. I try to improve quality of life through adaptive progressive strategies. what attracted me to become a caregiver was helping to care for my grandmother and my mother, it made me feel good to be able to help them. I'm very responsible, reliable, and my schedule is very flexible so I don't mind working part time or on call or overnight as well or even if it's just one day a week. I have a keen eye when/where it counts the most, with our loved ones. Many changes go unnoticed when it comes to senior care. I am always looking for changes in behavior, abilities, apatite, mood, ect. I keep open communication, I believe this is key when it comes to working with families. I have always enjoyed helping others so when I got the opportunity to become a caregiver, I jumped for it. When I first became a caregiver, almost 4 years ago, I had no experience.
