I am personable and enjoy being a home care provider. I became a caregiver because I wanted to help others by assisting them with their activities of daily living. I enjoyed caring for many seniors over the years and learned quite a lot from them. I believe I'm a great caregiver because I have had extensive training in a skilled nursing facility as well as in many private homes. I also enjoy seeing the difference that I often make in people's lives. I became a nursing assistant back in 1982 and acquired my Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license at the convalescent hospital where I worked. I then went on to work for several home care agencies and acquired my Certified Home HeaIth Aide (CHHA) license. I have worked as an independent contractor caregiver for years. I am willing to commute for full-time employment. I have great references and will be happy to submit them upon request.

I used to take care of my own grandparents, by providing them with all the care and love they need and making a difference in their lives. Firstly I am an honest, faithful, loyal and trustworthy person to work with. I try to go beyond my line of duty to ensure that my client's health is my top priority. Therefore I would treat them with love, care and respect as I would treat my own family member. Lastly I am also flexible with any schedules given to perform and hours of work and day's that my services maybe required.

I love being around people and all my life I've taken care of family members and when I do caregiving, I care for them like they are my own family. I am a licensed esthetician in the state of California. Having been a Certified Nursing assistant for 2 years I have acquired a passion for health/healing. I have worked in the medical field for over 20 years and currently hold a position as a patient registration specialist /financial counselor at the local hospital after working for a local internist as a medical assistant for 13 years. I also earned my certified nursing certificate in 2004 . I have worked in convalescent homes, doctors offices as well as private homes. I am a very compassionate person and is sensitive to each individual needs. I am very organized , trustworthy and responsible and have excellent references. I can do light house work, yard work and errands as necessary. Since I am a mother of 3 boys , I have a sense of humor and thick skin when needed. I have seen it all as I have worked in all kinds of medical facilities so no need to be embarrassed or ask me for my help.

I have had my CNA license for 6 years, and I did home health for 10 years, with a few extra training courses including, Dementia & Alzheimer's training, wound care, medicine and 1 year internship for Mortuary School. I am a quick learner and follow instructions given. I keep a daily log of all events, meds given, and give full daily reports when requested. I am aware of all HIPPA laws and abide by them. I am reachable at all times on or off the work schedule provided. I am willing to work extra hours/shifts in all situations.
