Hello I'm Jessica, and I have been a Certified Nursing Assistant for 8 years now. I've always been very passionate and caring about every one I help. I'm very big on communicating and listening when it comes to the patients and the best way to meet their needs. Over the years I have gained experience working with patients with Dementia, post op surgeries, physical limitations and so on.

Like a lot of people who are caregivers I started out taking care of a loved one, who was suffering from Lupus and Heart Disease. She was a retired nurse who was full of knowledge and more than happy to pass it on to me during the ten years I took care of her. I found that not only was I a very good caregiver but that I actually enjoyed it and found it very fulfilling! I think one of the most important things I learned while caring for seniors is that even though they may need help with many different things, some of which are very personal, they are still an adult not a child. I've found people appreciate that, I know I would if the situation was reversed. My second ten years in this business have been helping wonderful people who have found themselves in need of quality care. Their conditions have included Diabetes, Parkinson, Strokes, Dementia and Alzheimer's and other ailments. Some have just needed a little help and companionship. I was very happy that I could be there for them and make a difference in their day with whatever level of care they needed, and to help the family feel confident that their loved one had someone competent and caring to depend on. I have many hand written references that I have received over the years that I can share with you in person.

Hello, my name is Tanayra. I love giving back to my community that's why I enjoy being a caregiver. Being a caregiver gives me a sense of satisfaction because I am able to care or help out others. I have been doing caregiver services for 7 yrs. I am very passionate about helping others. My grandma was my best friend and when she passed away I got a job as a caregiver. I have been in the medical field since 2007. I enjoy this profession due to the fact that I am able to help those who can't or need the help to do their daily activities and it makes me feel good knowing that I am able to give the person and their family that sense of relief knowing they have someone here who cares and genuinely wants to be there and do the best possible care they can to improve the quality of care and life. I've always gone above and beyond for anyone I've worked for and had a resident who was very hard to please go out of her way to write a note and post on the bulletin for all to see thanking me. For staying after my shift to put her to bed bc no one else would do it and I stayed an extra hr and half to do it and didn't complain in fact I kept asking if she was comfortable or needed. Anything else and she couldn't believe how sweet I was and even requested that if I was on shift I'd be her care giver.

I work in Sarasota, Venice, and the North Port area. When I started my career as a caregiver, my life changed. Aging is a difficult process for many people. I feel compassion for the people I take care of. I do everything from my heart because I treat my clients as I would like my parents to be treated. For me this is more than a job, it is my passion to take care of the people who need me.
