Hi, I'm Ronald Porter, I'm 26 yrs old, I've worked as a direct care staff/caregiver for about 4/5 years, I'm also CPR/AED Certified. I love being a caregiver, I love getting to know and hearing the stories of everyone that I take care of. I also enjoy making their day, I really believe that this is my calling. Becoming a caregiver always been a prioritized career choice of mine because I always was drawn to taking care of others, especially those who don't have the mobility to do for themselves. I'm experienced with ventilators patients and I've always want to expand my knowledge in the health care field

Well i want to become a caregiver because i love people i am a people person and i have had older grandparents and an older parent i know theres nothing like having compassion for an elderly person and treating them with the up most care i look at it like this the elderly have feelings too and if that was my parents or grandparents what kind of care would i like them to have . When i was caring for my grandmother it took alot of patients and time to get her use to someone doing things for her because she was so use to doing everything on her own. my grandmother sufferred with alheimers, dimentia and took alot to get her to understand that she needed someone to help care for her. i enjoyed that feeling that i was accomplishing something and it kept a smile on her face to know that she had someone there to love her and take care of her. I am a very patient caring person i love people ,I am a very friendly and loving individual, outgoing.
