I'm a loving, caring, patient and understanding person who loves helping people. I like to know that I could help lift someone's spirit when they are down. Knowing that I just put a smile on a persons face when they don't feel well or things are not going so great. What I like about being a caregiver, the heartwarming feeling after make the day better for someone else and the comfort you may bring their home again. The bond you build with a person is everything. Being able to help people is a great achievement in my life.

I am always on my feet, I'm walkways wanting to help others and understand others just as much as I want others to do the same for me. I'm very open, I'm dedicated. Wanting to be a caregiver was unexpected for me, it was something that I felt like I could learn from until I wanted to be a CNA. The main thing I enjoy about caregiving is the ability to be present and being able to see and hear a store from a resident or someone who is bed bound, they tend to always have a story. Being able to help someone period just makes me happy. Personally I feel like I haven't achieved anything due to distraction in life. I always tend to work hard and can never make time for my life but I do have a list of things that WILL be achieved and I WILL be proud.

Traits that help me be a great caregiver is that I'm sweet, gentle, very understanding and I have patience. What attracted me to become a caregiver is that I just love to help people. No matter if their young or elderly that's always been something that I've always been good at. What I enjoy about being a caregiver is making people feel like it's not the end of the world, seeing people smile and making them feel better on their worse days.

I am a 34 years old mother of 5, i have a chronically ill son myself so i am familiar with many tasks of helping and taking care of special needs and or many health issues. I love people and love helping with their everyday needs of life, i have worked in childcare for over 15 years where i have completed many tasks and went above and beyond for others. I was a nanny when i was a teenager helping with special needs and children with physical/mental health diagnosis, i am very loving, caring, compassionate and love what i do....helping others! I am cpr/first aid certified.

I have been in this field for close to 10 years. I'm a very fun outgoing person. I am a single mom of two kids ( young adults) I enjoy the beach, fishing,sunning,swimming and spending time with my family I got in this profession because my late grand mother had Alzheimer's and was wheel chair bound, I love the elderly and treat them with love,compassion and respect as they were my own. I feel the elderly paved the way for our generation, have put in many years of their heart and soul into our communities in some way and deserve to be in their own environment where they feel comfortable and safe. In my eyes not only am I helping them but they help me as well, from stories of their past to the way the world has changed. I have not met an elderly person that I haven't learned something from.
