My name is SaKaiya, I've lived in Florida all my life. Since I've graduated high school I've been always wanted to get into the field for caring for others. I've done childcare which was amazing now I'm doing adult/senior care. I do have minimum to little experience. But I will make sure the patient will get all the care that they need!

Growing up I was a big help in being a part of helping out with my grandparents, as time went by I was ready to go out and help my elders in any way as possible. I became a care giver when I saw how little care my grandfather was giver when He was sick, I wanted to make a difference to families like me. It is my joy to see the smile and relief on this face of the person and family while I take care of the sick. I am a friendly, happy person who try to do my best at all times with a passion for helping the elderly.

What makes me a great caregiver is I have extensive hands-on experience and I enjoy what I do. That's the reason I decided to go back to school for nursing so I can help my elderly patients even more. I enjoy being a caregiver because, you never know what the next day holds for you. Most people enjoy having to wake up to do the exact same thing everyday I don't. With elderly patients they wake up with a different agenda everyday which makes working with them exciting. Hearing their stories and how things where when they were teens are so interesting. What made me decide to become a caregiver in the first place, was the fact that I was raised by my grandparents. I've always been around the elderly and that's all I pretty much know is to take care of them and love them. It takes a caring and patient person to work with elderly patients and I'm the right person for that.

I have worked with patient giving out the medication I have work in new Vista and Wellington green I work with agencies and Congress I work with alzheimer's patient I work at home I provided one on one.I'm trustworthy Treat my patient with respect and as a Member of my family .

I have taken care of all the elderly in my family and some of their friends, I moved from TX to FL and looking to do the same I have been doing for the past 15 years as a paid caregiver. I am very patient with old ladies and know how to take care of their needs. The caregiver job is to make them feel comfortable and sometimes keep them company and depending upon the person have a little fun and have a nice time. I took care of a lady who was in a coma for a year and always talked to her and keep her looking her best. She woke up and told me she knew that somebody was talking to her and telling her stories. Never allowed her to get bed sores or neglected her. I am a professional sanitarian with a M.S and know how important to keep their area clean is. I have travel extensively, I am bilingual English and Spanish and like to read and write also I have a passion for old cultures, history, movies and Precolumbian art.
