I have taken care of many family members throughout my lifetime with situations including hospice and post-orthopedic surgery. I realized that the compassion and empathy I was able to give others was a gift, what better way to use it than to take care of those who cannot take care of themselves. I have won awards for customer service and for being an exceptional preceptor at the current healthcare facility I work at. I am a retired Child Welfare Specialist. I retired early to take care of my elderly mother until she passed away in 2017. I worked for Senior Services in 2018 -2019 & Home Instead from Sept 2021 -June 2022. I also provided care for several friend's elderly mothers who had dementia & one lived in assisted living center.
