My name is Hope and I'm 19. I learned how to be a caregiver from my mom. Growing up I always had to help take care of her because of her lvad. I was always going to the doctors with her and wanted to be one when I grew up. The things I enjoy most about being a caregiver is connecting with the clients and their families. I love hearing about what jobs the clients worked, and learning about what kind of hobbies they like to do. Having a good relationship with the client and the clients family is very important to me to help the client get the best care!

I am mature, dependable, honest, kind, compassionate, well read, intelligent, great at multi-tasking, and have a lot of experience caring for dementia and Alzheimer's patients. I have experience with bed ridden and chair bound patients and their overall care.

I became a caregiver because it fufills my heart, mind , and soul. I get great satisfaction knowing that I can help keep a person safely and comfortably in their home. Meeting new people and their families has given me a lot of knowledge to use for the next job I am fortunate to receive. My years of experience have taught me to have patience and compassion for each person because everybody is different in their own way. I have raised an incredible teenager who is thriving in life. One of the things I am most proud of is that I took care of my mother who was dying of lung cancer. I was the best advocate for her that I could be. I kept her safe and comfortable to live out the last days of her life. I have done a little of everything in the medical field. I have worked in the ER, assisted living, home health and hospice and live in private duty. When I am not working I enjoy reading, camping, and spending time with my family.

I am very Maticulous w everything.. Longevity, dependable, reliable, outgoing and a over achevier. Giving my heart to those who need it most ..putting a smile on the face of a patient and giving the family the stress less part of not having to take care of there family but enjoy what time is left w them.My most rewarding goal would be meeting lots of diff people from diff backgrounds and hearing all there stories good and bad !! I enjoy taking care of my residents and love the experiences. My favorite thing about being a caregiver, is the interacting and connection I receive from all my residents, good and bad. My personal achievement and something about myself is that, I'm raising 3 kids on my own and I couldn't imagine it any other way. I'm very blessed.
