I spent 11 years in the military in which I was honorably discharged at the end of 2012. I completed and received an associate degree in art while serving. I continued my education while being unemployed from the time I was released from the military until April of 2013 and earned a bachelor degree in psychology. A week later I began practical nursing school and graduated top of my class a year later and was rewarded the leadership award. I passed my state board and earned my Practical Nursing license with an IV certification. I have since worked as an admission nurse, hospice nurse, agency nurse, floor nurse, managed a long term care facility, and was a day shift manager as well as a day shift unit supervisor. I recently completed my associate's degree in science in nursing and am waiting to sit for boards for my registered nursing license. I am looking to slowly transition from the facility setting into private duty helping people in their home setting.

Passion and patience are essential to a good caregiver. I enjoy helping people and try to bring joy to anyone I am with. I always keep in mind that how I treat a client is how I would want my own family member to be treated. I have a good sense of humor and empathy and give my all to each and every client. I have 7 years experience working as a caregiver both in home and in assisted living and memory care facilities. Many of my clients have been diagnosed with dementia but I have worked with clients in various stages of health situations. A personal achievement and fond memory of mine was taking a client who wanted to go to Branson, Mo with the permission of her family for 3 nights to see some shows and go to Silver Dollar City. She never stopped talking about that trip and what a wonderful time she had. She passed away shortly after that.

I finished my geriatric nursing degree of 3 years in 2001 in Germany. Since then i worked in Nursing homes and in the US as a home health caregiver. I enjoy taking care of people in the comfort of their own home. Im punctual, caring and have many years of experience. Very reliable and tidy.
