Hi my name is Ayla Campos. Some traits that make me a great caregiver are that I'm beyond caring and focused on helping people with their everyday needs. It's definitely one of the most rewarding jobs I've had. I've known since I was little that I wanted to do anything that helped others. I've always loved being there and helping others.

I am a good listener and will double check to make sure that what is asked of me to do is correct.My past and present clients are and have given me great recommendations for my caring attitude. As a small girl, I always wanted to help the elderly and anyone less fortunate than me.I was raised by 2 very loving, church going parents. The most important thing I love about being a caregiver is the gratification of knowing that I am appreciated in my responsibilities. A personal achievement that I am very proud of is doing the smallest things to get that gratitude.

I am an outgoing, friendly, and caring person. I have lost family members and I decided I wanted to take care of other people. I got into caregiving in 2017 and fell in love. I am very thorough and organized. I love my job. I have went on vacation with a client and their family to provide care in April of 2021.

I am applying to get reimbursement for some of the care that I provide for my parents.

I have always enjoyed helping and taking care of people whether it is total care or just assisting with their daily activities. I am compassionate and patient which are two important traits when you're working in this field. Anything I can do to help improve someone's quality of life is rewarding at the end of the day. I am very blessed that I was able to take care of my parents and helped them live and die with dignity and this is also my goal for my clients. Whether it's doing a puzzle or just listening to stories, it's all worth the time.

Hello, there. My name is Mariah and I'm a hardworking, down to earth country girl. I enjoy spending my free time reading, going on long walks with my dog, hiking, sipping hot tea and cooking. I'm an excellent cook and I have culinary training. I've always been interested in caregiving ever since I was a child. Babysitting for family members turned into me becoming a professional nanny at age 22. I also grew up with my elderly father in the house and was his primary caretaker while my mother worked 2 full time jobs. I had to go to high school online to stay home and help take care of my father. Which, if I'm being honest, I wasn't too excited about missing out on high-school...but now when I look back, those are the memories I cherish most with my father because it was just he and I. I'd drive him to run errands, cook for him, we'd play games and watch the history channel. It made me happy to see him full of life even though I knew he was struggling. I've overcome a lot of obstacles in life and I'm very thankful to be where I am today. I work hard, save my money and I travel when I can and most importantly, I get to do it all right next to my family. CPR & First aid certified 2022

I am a level-headed health-care professional who remains calm and effective in extremely difficult and stressful situations. I have strong beliefs in the importance of companionship and in patient care. I've worked with children, rehabilitation for those recovering from surgeries, elders whom need nothing but a companion, people suffering Alzheimer's and/or Dementia, and also with individuals who have physical and/or mental disabilities. I myself was born with a mild form of Cerebral Palsy but, never let it stand in the way. I grew up in the healthcare field because of my dad who has been a nurse my whole life and would bring me to work with him so I could play bingo with the residents. Ultimately I chose this career path though because, in 2013 my mom was diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver and after being admitted into the hospital I spent weekends by her side and sadly saw first-hand that the staff were not giving her proper care. Shortly after her being hospitalized I decided to drop out even with it being my senior year. I started classes to obtain my GED and also registered at Indiana Healthcare Professionals and the day of her funeral was my first day of classes to become a Certified Nursing Assistant which I successfully completed in June of 2014.I love the healthcare industry because I have found a little piece of my mom in everyone I've assisted; which is why, giving my best is never questioned. I plan to start school again in the near future to become an elementary school special education teacher. At the very least my experience as a CNA has prepared me for my next path.
