I love talking to my residents about their past lives to really get to know them and what they love. I just moved down here from the jackson Michigan area and I'm ready to start helping people in community using my skills!

I've been a caregiver for about 4 years now. I received my CNA license while I was still in high school. I wanted to become a caregiver ever since I was really little, I used to volunteer at a nursing home when I was younger. I love helping people feel as comfortable as I can, and putting smiles on their faces.

I have been a caregiver for 5+ years and I have worked in multiple health care fields with all different types of health issues. I have yet to run into something that I could not handle. Being a nurses assistant is what I do, I have thought about furthering my education multiple times but I keep coming down to the decision that I would not get that one on one time like I do now with my patients/residents. I am very proud of where this career as taken me and how my job makes me feel knowing I put a smile on someone's face and I was the person who was there for them when they didn't have someone to talk to. Everyday I go to work my number 1 goal is to make sure every single person I come in contact with get the best service I could provide with my experience and if I can not answer a question for them then I direct them where to go and also get educated on the answer myself for next time.

I am German and worked in Germany and Switzerland for over 10 years in Trauma hospitals, Angiography and Nuclear Medicine. Moved 1994 to the USA (job of my husband). Can't work in the USA with my German certification as Rad. Tech. Because I missed working with patients (your profession has to be your passion!!!), started an Med. Ass. program, where I finished with honors. I was hired directly from my internship side and worked with this OB/GYN for nearly 6 years. I was switching to an Breast Cancer Center, in 2009, working with a breast surgeon. Moved to Fort Wayne in 7/2010. Started working with Brown Mackie College as adjunct instructor in 11/2010. I love to work with students as much as with patients and my goal is to give my students the tools to be a better MA.
