I am a dedicated State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA/CNA) with over 15 years of experience as a caregiver and have provided care to individuals in different settings. I value integrity and compassion as key in pursuit of my career and strive to achieve this with the principle of treating people how you want to be treated. I started caregiving as part time while in college and it turned out to be a humbling and rewarding career for me. Humbling in way that it has made me to appreciate life, and rewarding for being a part of making someone's life better.

Approximately 15 years ago, I became my mother's Caregiver after she came home from Rehab for a major stroke. After working in a Family Medical office for a couple years, I began my Caregiver career. In the past 10+ years, I have worked as a Home Health Aide and CNA, providing many services to families and their loved ones, including (but not limited to) Alzheimers, Dementia, Quadriplegic, and Hospice Care. Services provided include companionship, transportation, meal prep, feeding, light housekeeping, pericare, input/output, taking and recording vitals, catheter care, colostomy care, medication reminders, assistance with bathing, showers, dressing, transfers, wound care maintenance, and oxygen maintenance. My special focus has been with Alzheimer's and Dementia care. I am a CNA and certified in CPR and First Aid, and continue to work on completing additional medical courses and pursue avenues to help strengthen me as a Professional Caregiver. I also maintain current Individual Professional Liability Insurance. Your loved ones peace of mind, comfort and health is my priority.

Hi! I'm Blaykelyn, I've been a C.N.A since February, I got it through my High School. I love every minute of it. I love helping people. I'm going to college for nursing in the fall, but it's a community college so I'll only have classes 2 days a week, so i'll still have the time to do my job.

What I enjoy about being a caregiver is knowin that I have help in the best way I can. I love wen my residents and for my help cause I know I do a great job.

I'm a compassionate person. I truly believe my calling is to help and take care of those in need in many ways. I've been in the medical field for 34 years and wouldn't change anything.

I'm a compassionate person that loves people and animals. The joy I can bring to others gives me so much happiness. I've provided care both professionally and personally to a variety of need levels. As the oldest of 3 girls and a Mom that worked as an RN doing 12 hour shifts, I learned caregiving from an early age and realized it was my calling. I'm a proud Ovarian Cancer survivor and very grateful that I have lots of living left to do! I love to learn new things and continue to take college courses each year to exercise my mind. Hi my name is Julie:) I became a caregiver after helping my own parents. I have been caregiving for over 10 years. I didn't realize there were so many people in need. I have learned so much and continue learning. I'm so passionate about caregiving for I also was in a wheelchair the first years of my life as a child. Now I'm healthy and strong, but I know what it feels like to be dependent on people and my best strength is to anticipate your needs before you have to ask. I lived in California all my life. I just moved to Kentucky. I took care of my beautiful mom and a wonderful lady for over 6 years. They both passed away within 6 months of each other, broke my heart to pieces. I have family in Kentucky and decided to move. I've been here 2 weeks and ready to start my life. When your caregiving, your a care provider, friend, advocate, and grow so close and love the people you take care of. This profession has enriched my life, and it's my calling.
