I was first introduced to home care when I was a teenager as my grandmother suffered from Breast Cancer,I became her primary caretaker,so upon my 18 th birthday I went ahead and took the CNA/HHA CLASSES.I truly love what I do,it gives me great pleasure caring for someone,also being able to care for someone who needs to be cared for,and wants to enjoy thier last year's in their home.I have been doing this (care taking) for 26 years. I started caring for folks because back in Africa, we care for our family members so it has been something in my nature to care for people. When I care for elderly folks, I treat them as if they were my family members. I've worked with all types of senior patients. Most patients have conditions of stroke, dementia, mentally challenged patients, cancer patient, hospice etc.

Hello, I'm Jennafer. I previously worked for a VA Medical Center as a nurses aid. I loved my job, unfortunately I moved and it was too far in distance. I am CPR certified, and have experience with most common elderly illnesses and diseases. I worked with a lot of patients suffering from either dementia, Alzheimer's, diabetes, urinary, respiratory, cardiopulmonary, restorative, and more. I absolutely enjoy making people happy and being part of people's lives, which is one reason I believe makes me great at care giving.
