I have always felt a calling and a passion for caregiving. I have over 15 years of experience providing compassionate care in Skilled and private homecare settings. I am a single mother and student at UMGC. Currently working towards a bachelor's degree in Gerontology and Aging Services and a minor in Psychology, and proudly graduating in December of 2024! From there, I plan to work towards a master's degree in Occupational Therapy. I am dedicated and dependable, and the hourly rate is negotiable depending on the level of care and time of day needed, etc.

I care about everybody, and try too help out as many people as possible. It brings a smile too my face when I see others smile, and i know I'm doing everything I can too make that person comfortable and happy. What I really love about being a caregiver is the conversations I have with the elderly. Hearing about their life, and diffrent expirences they went through sometimes are life changing. Just getting too know them and knowing I'm helping someone makes me happy. One of the achievements I'm proud of is passing my TNA classes & getting a certificate. That made my day.

I became a caregiver because I love helping elderly and sick people. I'm certified in CPR and First Aid and have ten years of experience working with sick and elderly people. I'm a very clean and passionate person who can perform the following tasks by myself: tube feeding, Hoya lift, bs monitoring, and vs. I can help patients get into bed, eat, and bathe/shower. I am also more than willing to do light housekeeping.

I place myself in the condition of the weak elderly. I vision that someday I can be in that condition. This motivates me to have compassion on them and work hard to support them. I took care of my aged father who suffered from stroke for ten years before he died. His high social demand at this time motivated me to be elderly supporter. My father's condition which I assisted motivated me to become a care giver. I do it wholeheartedly and families of passed away clients sometimes adopt me into their family. Most often they call me even when the work is over.

I became a caregiver because I have a great passion to care for people. I love putting smiles on people's face in which is a healthy therapy for people I care and work for.

I became a caregiver about 20+ years ago after raising my family. My brother was born with a disability and I seen how gentle and loving my mother was with him. I am proud to say I inherited her passion and caring heart. That is mainly why I chose to become a caregiver so I can give back. I am COVID vaccinated I am honest, reliable and dependable.

I love making a different in the lives of others.after taking care of my grand mother i developed the ability to care for people in need.When I came to the state in 1985 this was the job I acquired and I have being doing it ever since.I had worked in the nursing home setting,,hospital, and private homes. I have a positive impact on my client I smile a lot I'm open to communicate with my client, listened to there concern encouraged them making decisions if the can and to involve them in there care plan.i give ADL care, good hygiene,,cooked, do laundry, serve there meal but if client needs assistance with feeding I will do it. I do client shopping, take client out for recreation, make drs' appointment and take them to there appointment, medications remainder,or administered medications, reports any concerns to family member who is POA.It rewarding when you see your client condition is improving.Care giver job is rewording when you bond with your client and the built trust in you.
