Been a caregiver is my calling, i have the passion and the companionship to give unconditionally. I am a certified nursing assistant with 14 yrs under my belt also First Aide,BLS,CPI, and CPR certified. I am a God fearing human being who believes the statement " treat people the way you want to be treated.

I got my Personal Care Aide license in 2006 so I would know how to care for my mother who had cancer and then 2011 tended to my father til his death in 2013. I enjoy visiting and hearing about the clients unique lives, I enjoy the flexiablity in hours as a caregiver, but most of all knowing with my assistance I am helping people live longer and happier lives indepentently. I am proud that I was able to care for both my parents before they died and I was able to keep them from going to the nursing home. I am a single, white, female, mother, caring, reliable, hard working, a great cook, and friendly. I worked for East Arkansas Area Agency on Aging and recertified my personal care aide training in Arkansas in 2014. My clients always bragged that I can fold laundry like department store and the fitted sheets like should be folded. That is due to my 10 years in hotels business and many years working Apparel department at Wal-mart. I am currently a greeter at Wal-mart.

I love helping people and taking care of them and doing what's best for me at my job. Communication, I'm always on time and I love helping people and doing what's best for them. I am proud of learning in different healthcare settings environment such as behavioral health, Alzheimer's, dementia, and more. I love caring for patients and I go all out my way.

I've always had a giving personality and I like helping people that why I'm patience and compassion are essential. This is a job that requires a lot of tolerance for challenging situations, and good communication and a positive attitude also go a long way. Additionally, you need endurance and physical ability to support patients with certain tasks. I have been caring and compassionate my whole life, I've always felt compelled to help anyone that needed assisting in any fashion. The enjoyment that I get most out of doing this, is knowing that I may somehow in some small way be contributing to making a difference in someone's life at a time when they need it most. Becoming certified as a nursing assistant, is what I'm very proud of. Because not only do I get to do what I love, but knowing that I have been properly trained in doing so gives me a greater joy.

Helps clients improve their functioning and well-being. Help people strengthen their resolve and become more independent. Caregiving can be exhausting, but it can also be immensely rewarding.
