Hello I am a CNA. I have been a CNA for ten years. I became a CNA because of my love for people and to help people. I am excellent at helping others in so many ways. I am studying to become a RN and plan on with geriatrics.

I was a certified nurse assistant for 20+ years. I graduated as a medical clinic lab assistant and 2008. From there I went into ministry, I am a ordain minister as well as an ordained chaplain. 2016 I completed a course for medical phlebotomy. I am A nurturer by nature, I love to assist other in bring their best. When I was 9yrs old I used to help my great grandmother tend to her sister home was epileptic and had severe seizures from since then I have always helping care for young and elderly. The reward is in knowing you have helped someone feel better, look better, be better, especially when they are use to doing for themselves. Compassion and empathy is a must along with proper communication and a smile.

My responsibility as care giver is to make sure the client is happy and healthy. A personality trait is to help anyway possible.

I'm looking to advance in my career with helping other people, it's something I've always enjoyed as long as I can remember. I believe that if I can make someone's day just a little bit better by a kind gesture or just a smile, I have done something great. I've always believed in the better good of things no matter what. I'm the "glass half full" instead of half empty kind of person, so I guess that would make me some kind of an optimistic. That's why I chose the career path I did, because I want to help inspire other people and help them. People tell me I have what they call a "bubbly" personality and I just draw light into the room by being myself, that's the biggest compliment I could ever get from someone. This line of work just happened years ago and I had no experience back then, didn't even know if I would like it. The moment I started and saw all it came with, I fell in love with it immediately.
