Hello! I am a graduate from the College of Charleston with a Bachelor's of Science in Sociology. After graduating I worked for about 5 years with families and children who have emotional disabilities. Since then I have volunteered with the elderly and worked a summer at Sealevel transporting residents. I've been told I'm very patient and empathetic and I believe that's very important with caregiving. Helping others is very rewarding and fulfills a sense of purpose in me.

I'm a very cheerful person who enjoys caring for others. I became a caregiver in 2018 and thought I'm not sure if this is for me but we will see! Well 4 almost 5 years Later I love what I do no matter the person, age or problems they have Being able to help someone and be their friend at the same time make me enjoy my work much more. Being a healthcare worker is more than just a job/career to me it's my life and I enjoy every bit of it. My most recent achievement I am proud of as a caregiver was helping an elderly lady a couple of houses down from me and she had fallen outside there was no one around to help her at the time, my family and I had come home from a night out so I put my children in the house and ran over to make sure she was okay and proceeded to help her up check her scratches and bruises out and help her inside her home. It was actually the same lady who gave me a hard time at one point but that time nothing else mattered.
