Looking back at myself as a child, I was always drown to others who had no friends, or were look down upon, like our smart and intelligent neighbor with down syndrome, I found myself standing up for him, even to confront his father who was ashamed of him. And he started to pay attention to his son and later thanks me. Been in my later teen, I didn't realize why he thanked me for until later when I became a caregiver.
