I have been taking care of others for over 20 years. From infants to teens to the elderly. I have always been a "mother" figure, even as a child. Taking care of others just came so naturally to me. They have each given me the knowledge and opportunity in their own way to learn that it takes love, patience, discipline, empathy but most of all consistency to be a Caregiver. To raise a child or guide and show a teen that you're not giving up on them. Or to prove to a golden years patient that they can trust you with their care. I guess what attracted me to this line of work was simple. I am a very warm, empathetic person so again it just seems natural to take care of others. I am not the type to step over a person in need, I am the type to lift them up. A personal achievement that I am extremely proud of is my son. My 3 year old baby boy Jaxson.
