I started out in the the hospitality business by going to school for cosmetology and I quickly realized it did not fulfill my dreams. I decided healthcare is where I wanted to be. I am a CNA and for the past 2 years I have been helping my grandmother and other family members with their medical needs. I am a mom of 3 wonderful kids a cat and a dog. I have several years experience working for local agencies assisting the developmentally disabled with their adl's and gaining independence in the community. I have a likeable personality and I love to laugh. People find me enjoyable to be around. I would like to do private care so I have the opportunity to spend more time with my individuals. I am proud of being a homeowner and showing my children that at any age school is possible.

Hello, My name is DeAnna. I have been in the line of health care for 13 years, working in nursing homes as a state Certified Nurses Aide as well as in private homes as a Home Health Aide. I have worked with many various ailments both mental and physical. I specialize in rehabilitation, Alzheimer's/Dementia, and skilled nursing/hospice. I love knowing that I am making a positive difference in someone's life! I also own and operate a senior care and service company. I actively work as a cargiver within my company and make minimal profit off hours I dont personally work as a care giver. We have on call aides to fill in should anything unexpected come up for a caregiver so you need not ever worry about someone not coming. For the last 15 years, I have been in the human service field. Whether it be with troubled teens, tbi patients, dementia, mental disabilities and so on. My heart has always been pulled to help others in anyway I can. I believe in promoting independence as much as possible as I believe it gives people some self worth. My personal traits that make me a great caregiver is that I like to get to know my clients that Im working for and getting to know clients likes and dislikes their favorite food tv shows What attracted me to become a caregiver is that my mom was in a car accident and had a brain injury from it I had to teach her how to shower read and daily activities at the age of 13

About 10 years ago, my great grandmother had a stroke and is now paralyzed completely on her left side. I took time to take care of her all throughout high school and still now. I would stay the night with her and get her up and ready in the morning before I went to school. Just this past year, my great grandpa found out that he had throat cancer. He currently has had a trachea port put in. With that being said, I have been with him and my great grandma taking care of her needs and taking care of him, cleaning the port and transporting them to and from their doctors appointments.

I'm bi lingual Spanish speaking enjoy working and providing services our elderly community needs to keep there independence enhancing the quality of there life and give families a pice of mind while there out and there loved ones are home.
