Hi I am Heidi I am an upbeat caring person whom has provided caregiving for 8 years and love every moment ! Not just professionally but also personally for friends and family. Caregiving is my passion and I enjoy helping anyone accomplish there day in a day out goals whether it's cooking ,companionship or even just shopping. my personal achievement is helping as many people as I can as I have strived to do so for years and will continue to do so.

My name is Michelle. I have enjoyed the last two years of training and caregiving experience with the elderly. I have worked specifically in an assisted living environment, where I managed the home with 5 care residents per one caregiver. Additionally, I have worked in homes with 10 residents per two caregivers. In each home, I have been able to individualize the care to each person, as their needs may be. I have experience in crisis' management, fall risk, dementia (Alzheimer's) care, and much more. My responsibilities including keeping relations with families/nurses/care team members, cooking and serving meals, pristine cleaning of homes, showering/toileting and assistance with all Activities of Daily Living.

I'm a hardworking and motivated employee. I went to BOCES and completed the Health Occupations program. I received several awards during this time for competing in a state wide competition called Skills USA. I currently have been working as a home aide since August of 2016 and I love it. I enjoy being a caregiver because I love being able to help and making my clients feel comfortable and safe. I currently am in school for Nursing I will be completing my sophomore year this spring.

Myself knowing what the feeling is needing things and having someone , and more people the knowing somebody cares so much about people that the person goes so far to do and give so much work put forth into their needs it's unbelievably becomes who you are me being a caregiver means alot. I can do so much preferably how people are before they need caregiving. Independence taught me how to care to other people . It's more explainable in person . I'm not fake. I don't steal. I've been woken up and I need to be eating and cleaning body and showing attention and affection and the gift called giving back . There's a time in life and you ask for somebody to be in your home to help its expected to help with what's asked it's the job it's expected do what asked . Im very nice. Not a liar. I'm not what people say I am I do take pride . I don't like being negated into pressure or too too rushed in a I know I have a second but not when we or I'm not safe getting the job done . I care for safety measures will do what's asked . I don't force anyone to feel guilty -or ungood. Very I can please a family with tons of care more than alot of people . I am a very positive and caring person which helps in my job field. I love to help others. I fell into this field and fell in love with what I do. I have been a caregiver for 15yrs. I started off caring for my parents as they aged and then went on to work for an agency for a few years before I decided that I wanted to go on my own.
