Hello! My name is Jenna Taber I am 29 years old. I have a 6 year old son named Michael and he lives with me. I have been in the caregiving field for well over 12 years, but I became certified through All Metro Healthcare in Corning around 4 years ago. I have worked in nursing homes and clients homes as well. I have experience with dementia clients, TBI clients, Alzheimer's clients, bed ridden clients,and clients who use a hoyer or a lumex to transfer. I enjoy making a difference in someone's life even if it's just helping them with their daily needs. I wanted to be in the healthcare field due to seeing how much neglect my grandfather was put through. I also wanted to make a difference in someone's life as well. I started out in the the hospitality business by going to school for cosmetology and I quickly realized it did not fulfill my dreams. I decided healthcare is where I wanted to be. I am a CNA and for the past 2 years I have been helping my grandmother and other family members with their medical needs. I am a mom of 3 wonderful kids a cat and a dog. I have several years experience working for local agencies assisting the developmentally disabled with their adl's and gaining independence in the community.
