Because it is my passion to help others especially for seniors that really need help. Third question: What do you like about being a Caregiver? Ans. I like being a caregiver because I am able to help and take care of the seniors like my parents and make them happy. Fourth or last question: What is a personal achievement you are proud of? Ans. When I was born, my parents were older. So, I just grew up with older people around me all of the time. Later on, my mother got sick and I cared for her for 8 years until she died. My father then got Alzheimers and I cared for him. I've just naturally always been a caregiver.

I own a very active and mischievous 1 year old cat. I love her to death even though she is a pain in my neck. A lot... I grew up with dogs and birds too, so I'm comfortable with them as well. The only animals that I am not fan of are spiders, bees, and scorpions. I'm not afraid of snakes and will hold one that's not venomous. I do attend church regularly which does limit my availability somewhat. I do have my clearances and my back ground check and FBI check I became a care giver because i wanted to help the ones that need help with their daily needs .I like helping people with their daily needs and i love getting to know them and their family's . It's a great feeling to know that you are doing something and caring for someone that needs a little or alot of help . It makes me feel happy when the one i'am caring for is happy and their family is also happy with the care i give them . I have been a care giver for almost 20 years . I stopped working for awhile , when my Grandmother (103) was getting worse and she need more help before she passed this year . i wouldn't change doing what i've been doing .

I first knew I wanted to be a caregiver when I was 15 years old. I started taking care of my great-grandmother in her home and absolutely loved every aspect of it, so I made it my career.
