I am a dedicated State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA/CNA) with over 15 years of experience as a caregiver and have provided care to individuals in different settings. I value integrity and compassion as key in pursuit of my career and strive to achieve this with the principle of treating people how you want to be treated. Approximately 15 years ago, I became my mother's Caregiver after she came home from Rehab for a major stroke. After working in a Family Medical office for a couple years, I began my Caregiver career. In the past 10+ years, I have worked as a Home Health Aide and CNA, providing many services to families and their loved ones, including (but not limited to) Alzheimers, Dementia, Quadriplegic, and Hospice Care. Services provided include companionship, transportation, meal prep, feeding, light housekeeping, pericare, input/output, taking and recording vitals, catheter care, colostomy care, medication reminders, assistance with bathing, showers, dressing, transfers, wound care maintenance, and oxygen maintenance. My special focus has been with Alzheimer's and Dementia care. I am a CNA and certified in CPR and First Aid, and continue to work on completing additional medical courses and pursue avenues to help strengthen me as a Professional Caregiver. I also maintain current Individual Professional Liability Insurance. Your loved ones peace of mind, comfort and health is my priority.

I have worked as a paraprofessional at a local school. I also work with senior for 2 years full time. I treat everyone like they are my family. I began providing elder care when a close friend moved her mother to the area and needed help with her daily care, due to her diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease. Since I was a child, I enjoyed being around the grandmothers. Listening to their stories was a very comforting and enjoyable time for me. I love continued learning and sharing, and helping to make others feel loved and cared about is important to me! I feel so fortunate to have made a positive impact in several elders lives. I became a care giver because I love working and talking care of senior citizens and the handicap. I love to get to know my clients and enjoy making their lives a little easier. I had a young girl who was in a car accident and I helped her get her high school diploma and helped her walk again I am a 47yr old mother of 3 have 9 grand babies and I raise my nephew who had muscular dystrophy I moved to Ohio from Michigan to be near my middle daughter. I love to take care of people and enjoy being a care giver.
