I am going on my third year of college, and my third college as well. I am finishing up my surgical nursing degree at Marion Technical College with a Surgical Technician certification and a phlebotomy certification as well. I have spent time in caring for my grandmother while she was in and out of the hospital, and I will provide compassionate care to those who need. My job as a future nurse is to provide comfort and love to patients varying different health conditions. My ideal job profession in the future is to work in hospice as well. When I was younger, I had a heart disease and my life-long goal is to give back to nurses and patients with 110% passionate and sympathetic care.

A little about me! I am a single mom to 2 kids , 5 y.o and 2 y.o. I have been in healthcare for 6 years , I have my STNA license along with my EMT-B certification. I have worked in a long term care facility, also in the hospital environment learning about each speciality . I have taken care of my late grandparents which was 24 hour care , so I personally know how stressful it is to take care of a family member by yourself . I treat each of my patients as if they were my family and give them the best care I can .

Hello! My name is Holly Hull. I am a retired 20-yr corporate marketing/communications professional, who has chosen private in-home caregiving as my "second act." In 2008-2009, my parents were diagnosed with cancer, and my 14-yr journey as a caregiver began. I learned a lot about the caregiving industry during this time; and saw a real need for patient, compassionate, reliable and trustworthy care. I am a firm believer in customized care that caters to the patient's needs, personality, likes and dislikes. For example, my current patient does not like water on her face, so I brought in a waterproof visor that keeps water out of her face during showering. Truly, the role of caregiving is not a one-size-fits-all approach. I have helped patients navigate terminal illnesses, such as cancer and alzheimer's. My current patient is an early-onset Alzheimers patient, who was diagnosed at age 49. I have been with her and her family for 4 yrs; caring for the patient, as well as her two girls, in areas their mother could no longer assist. With their oldest daughter attending college this fall, the family has decided to move to be closer to her. Hence, why I am looking for my next patient. I find the role of caregiving an impactful way to "give back" and help others in need.

For me, being a caregiver isn't just a career. It's my calling in life. I feel as though it's what I was put here to do. My very first job at age 18 was as a caregiver for a lady with MS. I cared for her as a live in for nearly three years with one day off weekly. I then moved to direct care for disabled individuals and have accumulated several years experience. I am certified in first aid/ CPR, medication administration, insulin trained, and have a wide path of experience to fall back on. I was also caregiver for my mother for five years until she passed from ALZ. I am currently attending college studying Human and Social Services to better provide for those I work with and for. I believe that being a caregiver requires a special individual, just as special as those I care for. I have always felt that the individuals I have met and worked with have each been a blessing in their own way and I am the lucky one for having them in my heart and life. I view my clients as family, nothing less. I am dedicated, sincere, patient, full of good humor, not easily upset, and my greatest joy is making others happy. That's the biggest benefit of all. I absolutely love being a home healthaid/caretaker. Its definitely a job made for people like me! Im a mother and im also the oldest of 4! I love helping others and allowing them to stay at home instead of having to move to a special home. People love to be independent and i try to help them do that as much as possible! I also do things like workout with patients and read to them. Im very caring and loving.

I am very outgoing but can also be a great listener. I like to care for others and aspire to one day become a Physicians Assistant.

Hello, and welcome to my page. :) I started caregiving in 2014 for handicapped students in my dorm building. At first, it was to make some extra cash since being a college student took up most of my time. It quickly turned into a passion. I've adored every person that I've had the opportunity to work with. I've worked for Wright State University office of disability services, a Nursing home and memory care unit in the nursing home, and in home care. I have experience with transferring, lifting, bathing, changing sheets, memory care, etc. I have completed care for the elder adult classes, as well as manual vital courses (blood pressure, temperature, pulse rate) and I am CPR Certified through the America heart association.
