What makes me a great caregiver? I have a calm and compassionate demeanor and enjoy listening to the stories my clients tell me about their life. I was attracted to caregiving when my mother became unable to take care of herself after a fall in 2011. It was my opportunity to give back and it taught me patience, understanding, and the need to anticipate their needs without being asked. I enjoy the feedback I get from those I care for. They let me know how much they appreciate what I do. I personally feel a sense of accomplishment with my clients when I realize I have earned their trust.
