Hi my name is Beatrice, i have been a nursing assistant for 7 years , i have worked as a personal nursing assistant and also worked at Assisted living facilities .Due to my love for nursing i am in the nursing school trying to achieve my goal of becoming a nurse .am very passionate, caring and reliable and always there to carevfor the elderly, sick or needy.

I enjoy being a caregiver because the year I started being a caregiver was in 2018 and the first day I started I knew right there at my first job was full time and I bonded over time with the individuals that I served. What attracted me being a caregiver was when I applied at Midwest health services and I wanted to try something different because before that I was a cashier at Kroger for a total of 19 years. After I started being a caregiver and as I learned about each individual by talking with them and taking them out in the community and we both did things together and right then and there I discovered that being a caregiver is my niche in life. I really do enjoy being a caregiver because I like to help my clients to live a better life and I always want to do things with them that they enjoy so they feel more independent. The personal achievement that I got at my first job being a caregiver they promoted me to a team leader and they made me full time at the house that had 3 individuals in it which was a honor because each day I learned more about my clients wants and needs and I strive to meet their goals in life.

I am Priscilla and I have been a caregiver for almost 13years with experience in both nursing homes and in- home settings. Am a very happy person, so I always make sure my clients are happy. I joke around with them, and do funny dance. It's my way of showing them love and care, No matter how their situation is. I became a caregiver to make a difference in people's life. Cause I believe it's a blessing to care for people who need help in anyways that you can, either with money or with love. since I don't have the money to do so, I chose to make a difference in peoples lives with the only thing I have a lot to give, which is LOVE. I enjoy seeing my clients being clean, happy and loved. My achievements was working with a lady who fell into depression following the death of her only remaining son, who had some type of rare cancer, but didn't think he was going to die,while she was also in the hospital recovering from hip replacement.I walked into her and her grandchildren's life Three weeks after the son's death. I was assigned to work with her to recuperate from her surgery, but I ended up being like a therapist to the family. And thanks be to God, her depression, was very well controlled with medication, and We became very good friends. So to me I think, that's was my greatest achievement And am always grateful and proud of that .

I enjoy assisting clients with daily activities and chores. I am very easy going and easy to get along with. I have been in the caregiving field for about four years. I love helping people and learning more about the people I care for. Being a caregiver, to me, means caring about the individuals and helping them live their best life. It's very rewarding in many ways. I can gladly say that I have made friends while in the caregiving field. I have come to enjoy and truly care about the people I care for. I was very happy when I assisted an individual in learning how to do things themselves while working with Individuals with Disabilities. It was rewarding to see them get waivered out and able to live on their own with minimal assistance.
