I did not choose to become a caregiver it chose me, back in 2005 my husband was in a accident and became a quad needing full care, I became his caregiver, he passed in 2009. I then realized this was my calling as I was born with a servants heart. I was very good at what I did because my heart was in my work. I went on to become a resident manager for several years in DD and Senior Care homes, moved on to do one in one care, furthering my education yearly according to my clients needs, obtaining EQC certification as well as resident managers licensing . My grandmother was on hospice when I was a young girl. I saw how grateful my grandmother was and how much her caregiver touched my Grandmother's life. Ever since I wanted to make a difference and touch the lives of others. I have been a CNA for three years now, and I take pride in taking care of others. I want to make a difference in the life of every patient that I see . I not only want to be there for the patient but for their family too.
