I was born to a very large family,15 children to be exact,we were taught to care for one another,and when I was 13 years old,my grandmother came to live with us, because she could no longer safely care for herself and her home,,my mother,my sister and myself,done all the things you would do for an infant and cared for her until her death,I believe in doing so,I learned compassion and the skill of helping people, when the time or circumstance,comes that a person can no longer do life on there own,and I just love people,I wish more people had the heart to serve others.

In my past I have had many jobs in the industrial field and realized that through performing routine tasks there is a larger scale product involved. Each task must be done with quality in order to serve the company as a whole. All of the parts come together in order to make a whole. I see this when I serve a patient as well. Even though I may just be a tech, I realize that my job is just as important as everyone on the nursing team. If I don’t perform efficiently or diligently it effects not only my patients, but the team as a whole suffers.
