I started at the age of 14 taking care of our neighbor being she had no family and needed help around her house. I took care of her through my high school yrs. After graduating I went straight to college and got my CNA (certified nurse assistant) and then went to working at a nursing home. After that I have worked at adult day centers, hospital, home health companies and private sitting (i also took care of my father for over 10 yrs). I have experience with Alzheimer's, dementia, diabetes, wound care, using a hoyer lift and many more things. I am very passionate and caring about what I do I treat my clients with respect and compassion.

What makes me a great caregiver , I love my clients as well as what I do I enjoy being able to help those who need more help than others or just even being a opening ear to talk to , I think what made me want to be in this Field is seeing my mother do it she has always been my inspiration, after I was old enough to try for myself I seen how people would treat the residents and I wasn't to happy about it , I've always said you treat people how you want to be treated or how you would want your parents treated or grandparents etc if they were in a situation of the sort . Working in this field has taught me that no matter your race your weight your height your religion, it's about your heart and how one feels about you as well as how you feel about what your doing and who your doing it for .
