Im upbeat, energetic, silly by nature, understanding and compassionate. I can be a strong leader and motivate others but I tend to do it through a combination of reason meets humour.
I love the outdoors and love helping others stay independent. I know what its like to be on the recieving side of care so it really means a lot to me to preserve dignity and be a friend to my clients.
I have extensive experience and training, am prompt and dependable. I am a problem solver and athough my demeanor is best described as silly, I am a professional and conduct myself as such. Humour is just a great way to connect and lighten the mood when things are otherwise difficult.
I am proud of a great many accomplishments throughout my career, my greatest achievment is my ability to help someone go from being about to be placed into a long term care facility, to being completely able to function on their own without me.
A little know how, hard work, time, and TLC can go a long way to restoring independence. I've never been a Professional Caregiver, but I cared for my father until he passed away., I love older people, most of them are like innocent children to me.Ive been a hairstylist for 30+ years, , but physically in shape, & I miss my father, I think about him daily, so that's why I'm applying for a caregiver, I'm very compassionate, I'M CLEAN, I cook, I drive, have 2016 Tahoe w/OnStar, have CDL licence, & a very good sense of direction, & I have a lot of patience, I've sit with my mom & dad at numerous Dr.'s appointments, and I'm very dependable, I don't care what time of morning I have to get up, I guarantee you I will be there...I pray you consider me even if I've never did this job professionally, but I guarantee you I have the experience, Thanks
