I'm the happiest when I'm helping people, and when it's my job to help people I enjoy it a lot. I enjoy preparing food, showering them, and just talking. I'm trying to go back to school and be a nurse so I can help them more than just showering or cooking meals. Just helping someone makes my day better

I am very caring and compassionate person. I love listening to the elderly tell stories from their youth. I was drawn to this line of work because I was raised by my grandparents and want to give back to my community. I feel like our elderly population get forgotten and set aside and I want to be there to care for them and hopefully to age at home.

I am compassionate, empathetic, people driven. I have always been a mothering type always had the need to care of people. Being able to help someone brings me so much joy. I had issues growing up and it took a while for me to grow up but I made a decision to change my life and never looked back

My passion for care giving made me go back to school after 12 years of earning a bachelors degree in Biochemistry. Currently a Nursing student, I'm passionate about the older adults. I've had to work at Shannon Medical Center as a Patient Care Technician and I must say, taking care of the older adults gave me a sense of fulfillment. Adding to my natural passion for care, I love Jesus and would express the love of Christ through the quality of care I give; offering support and prayers when neeeded.

My personality traits is very outgoing happy go lucky person my glasses, always half full. I got passion for the elderly when I was raised by an older grandmother who loved everybody and showed compassion to everybody. I believe my calling in this world is to take care of the elderly and to help the disabled. I strive to be the best care partner caregiver, and just take care of my residence to the best of my ability and make sure their life is happy.

I enjoy helping others. I am passionate about not just assist our clients with care but also providing companionship , compassion , patience and understanding .

Let me start off by saying i ve always tell anyone in the nursing field your heart has to be in it. i love doing this type of job have doing it since before i finished high school. taking of my father pushed more into this field he struggled from having a couple of strokes and stayed paralyzed. putting a smile of my patients face and keeping them content is what i enjoy most. When i get compliments from family members of the patient or simple thank you and a smile on their face. knowing that they feel comfortable with me caring for their loved one gives me pride in my work.

Although I have not directly worked in the medical or healthcare fields, I am very familiar with some things. My mom is a Stroke survivor and has vascular issues in her legs and feet. I also used to help out her friend who was disabled from a Stroke and had no one to help her. I am passionate, caring, patient, kind and honest. I used wonder what it would be like to get to be a caregiver. My mom has had a few helpers who weren't so great and it would drive me crazy that I could not get paid for all the assistance I was providing. So my experience is definitely personal experiences I am not taught by books on giving care, I was self taught. My proudest achievement would have to be finally leaving the nest and creating a new life for myself and my daughter and of course achieving my degree. There was one point in time where I did not believe I would ever get to complete a college degree. Overall, it would be great to give care to people who are stuck in a hard place with no family who can come in and be their savior. Everyone needs someone and may need some help and we should be giving more help to people who truly cannot do much for their self anymore, life is tough enough as it is.
