I'm friendly, nice and like to help people. I'm a very trustworthy and a passionate person. I also wanted a rewarding job, and caregiving is just that. I enjoy talking to and making people laugh. I was very friendly with all our residents at my previous job. I am proud to have four healthy grandchildren that I adore.

I chose this path in the medical field from a young age when I realized how much I valued the individuality and the wisdom of my elders, and how much joy it brings me to be able to be a shining light in their darkest days. I plan on caring compassionately for my patients and rendering help to those in need. The interpersonal relationships with the patients/family are the reason I am here. In 2019, I was my father's primary caregiver, and I experienced some unprofessional nursing staff that made me want to be in the medical field even more. I have heard horror stories of unkind, unprofessional, non-caring nurses that are involved with our patients, and it utterly breaks my heart. I'm a firm believer that you lived a valuable life if you positively affected at least 1 person in your lifetime and I want to be rich in experience when my time comes. I view everyone as potential family and will always advocate for the patient with their best interest in mind. There are countless good people in this world that are deserving of so much. I crave to be a part of that experience. It's my calling here on earth and my purpose being a Christian woman. I view myself as being caring, empathetic, compassionate, understanding, medically knowledgeable, and a reliable person. I believe time with nature, is its own medicine and that love can heal. I encourage the patient to be active in their care and maintain a positive outlook. I am detail-oriented, focused, dedicated, and eager to get to know you and the family! I am a full-time student, going back to finish my bachelor's degree in nursing. I have experience with altered mental status patients and do well in deescalating situations involving conflict. I've worked in the healthcare field for 16+ years. I started out as a Certified Nursing Assistant, then worked my way to become a Certified Medication Aide. Over the last several years I also helped as Assistant Business Office Manager before later taking over as Business Office Manager at a facility I worked at. Sitting in that office working nonstop with no time to enjoy the conversation of the residents wasn't fun at all. Turns out it reminded just how much I truly love hearing stories of the elderly. Helping those who arent able to do the simplest tasks that you and I take for granted daily brings my heart such joy.

A personal achievement that I am extremely proud of was going to college to be a nurse. Although, if it had not been for my mothers help, I feel I would not have been able to finish. I think not really knowing my grandparents attracted me to being a caregiver. I sort of adopt grandparents along the way. I seem to have a passion caring for older adults. I have worked in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. I prefer to care for individuals in their own home, because I feel better care is given. I am a mother of 2 grown children and an empty nester, so I feel my entire focus will be to provide the best care for you or your loved one.

I chose the caregiving career because of my love and patience for the elderly. Caring for my great grandparents and grandparents is what attracted me to this field. Caregiving is a very rewarding job. My love and compassion would be some of my best traits

I enjoy people , their stories , the life they have lived , events in history they lived through that I can only read about . I know and firmly believe God put me on this path of nursing for its what I enjoy , Can give back and where my help is needed . I believe their are nurses and then there are exceptional nurses . If I can impact one family , one person and make the quality of life the live better then I have done my job . Nursing is not just a career it's a life long commitment and friendship to a patient .

Enjoy caring for the elderly. Very active with patient if they are mobile and able to be taken out. I've had patients I've taken to the movies, walking trails, lake, gone boating, shopping, out to eat, and basically get them out of the house to enjoy their day. If they are home bound I've baked with them some of their own recipes they may have. Because I love to bake from scratch. Cook, clean, and just spend time with them. I feel some don't have long why not make their last days good.

Caregiving to the clients and families I have taken care have been meeting their needs in whole . Everyone has different needs and to ensure their lives are happy and safe environment. I have Six years experience in this field . I am reliable and flexible. It takes a special person to understand their clients wants and goals to help them get there . I am very outgoing. I love helping people, I have been a caregiver for the past 9 yrs here in Highland Lakes area. I have done private care and for the company i worked with for 7yrs... I don't like to see people get overwhelmed with trying to care for a loved one... it is overpowering when you do it by yourself, I know because I have experienced with my own family.
