I have an excellent work ethic and I'm detail oriented. My personality easily lends itself to senior care and companionship. I have a neuroscience and cognitive science education background and am training to become an Occupational Therapist.

I have been a cargiver for 2 almost 3 years now and love the job. I enjoy assisting people with personal care jobs. Keeping good company. Cooking, cleaning, running errands. Changing briefs, assisting showering and getting ready for the day. Transportation for activities and taking out to run errands. I started working with kids with disabilities during a summer camp in 2016 and fell in love with assisting and helping kids and adults. Then i moved to other companies and loved the job still. I want to keep working in this job and get more hours than i am right now which is about 10-25 hrs per week. I am in the process of getting my CNA (certified nursing assistant) certification

Hello my name is Mya! Hopefully we get a chance to meet but I'll tell you a little but about myself beforehand! I am a cerified nursing assistant and have been certified for two years now! My loving and understanding personality has made me the best caregiver I could be. I love my clients and if they have a smile at the end of our visit, I know I've done my best job. What I enjoy most in being a caregiver is getting to know my clients and building that connection so they are comfortable in their own home and they received the care they need. One personal achievement I am proud of is being able to achieve all the transfers needed for clients on my own!

What makes me become a great caregiver is my grandparents. I was mostly raised by my grandparents and when I was 16 years of age my grandpa was diagnosed and I was the one that helps him most of the time. After my grandpa passed away my grandma was next and I had to take care of her, when grandma passed away that's when I realized I don't have a grandparents anymore and so I decided to look for a caregiver jobs so I can continue on the legacy that my grandparents left behind. Working as a caregiver makes me treat every residents that I get to work with just like how I treat my grandparents. I'm the type of person that I like to smile every time no matter the situations is, so by smiling it helps me with my job as a caregiver, and it helps the patients too feel comfortable with me helping them. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver, is being able to talk with them about life and how they share with me their stories, because I took their stories and apply it to mine and i work towards it. One of my personal achievements that I'm proud of is, seeing my patients happy, is one of my biggest achievements.

I have been working as a caregiver for over 5 years now... Getting my CNA in 2004, I find that being a caregiver is most rewarding. I've been fortunate to have been able to work with many individuals, needs vary from each person and so my knowledge is vast due to experiences in caring for each of these individuals.

I spent 18 years working with the physically and mentally disabled children and adults. I was an occupational and physical therapy assistant with Granite School District. I taught life skills and mentored adults with their transition into independent living which included menu planning, shopping, cooking, budgeting, transportation employment. I am currently caring for my 94 year old mother and all of her daily needs. I provide her meals, bathing, grooming, dressing, transportation, and manage finances and medical care. My love for people is immense and I truly enjoy giving with a smile or a thank you as my reward. I have so much to give and to share and I feel that I can make a positive difference, somewhere!
