I am a very outgoing, talkative person. I love hearing stories that older generations tell, they are the best stories!! I lost all of my grandparents, and I am new to Texas from Pittsburgh, PA so I could use company myself. I think about my own grandparents getting older and helping them with things that they could no longer do and how good it felt to be able to help them. I don't ever want someone to feel embarrassed or upset about something they can't control, and I seem to be able to handle those situations quite well. I am not a very big person, so sometimes transferring someone may be a little tough if the person is large, but I have helped rather big people get from a bed to a wheelchair, if they can help a little. I will try my hardest to do it, but I can do everything else and the companionship just comes with it. It puts a smile on my face if I can make someones day, but they make my day just as much. I am very proud that I was able to help take care of my Gram in her final days and just be able to talk to her. I think this would be a great job for me, as I genuinely care about people and I am compassionate. I would love to meet anyone and talk with them more. Thank you for reading about me. Wendy
