As an enrichment leader, I love creating experiences that bring joy, even if only for a few minutes, especially for those facing memory challenges. Knowing I helped brighten someone's day is incredibly fulfilling. One achievement I'm proud of is developing and leading a personalized enrichment program for seniors with Alzheimer's and dementia at the assisted living facility where I worked. I created activities tailored to their abilities and interests, which helped reduce agitation and improve engagement. Seeing residents who usually stayed withdrawn begin to participate and smile during these sessions was incredibly rewarding. It reaffirmed my belief in the power of compassionate, person-centered care.
