Hello Denver! I like reading and writing and helping people through applying my knowledge of the human body and how it copes with and adapts to the world - we each see and handle these things differently and that makes us each unique! As a caregiver with earned degrees, I love meeting new and established clients and giving each attention to issues needing care, a friendly personality, and sometimes a lot of coaching - all to achieve goals. There are so many dimensions in understanding the processes of healing; caregiving takes a good discussion, planning, and solid delivery. Sometimes helping the body heal means challenging it in specific ways - so, collectively, it relearns how to function better as a whole. Keeping the systems of the body working in harmony and aligned appropriately with a consistent and sufficient sleep / wake cycle - and a healthy moderate diet - promotes better and longer healthspan and lifespan, respectively. I have research experience in the fields of endogenous circadian timing in mammalian CNS, in vitro, in vivo and in retinal tissues of Zebrafish and Sunfish and in tissue regeneration using an annelid model system. Well I'm 24 I'm a current nursing assistant I will soon be a certified CNA. I started working as a caregiver after my sister got me a job as dietary aide in a rehab/assisted living facility she was CNA there. After working there for over a year I realized I loved working with different patients knowing I can help them. Soon after I started working as a caregiver at memory care facility. I work with dementia and Alzheimer's patient. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is helping my patients love the best life they can. I do try to let my patients be independent the most they can so they don't feel like there unable to do anything. I'm there to assist there needs from helping them eat to bathing them. I am CPR certified. I enjoy talking to them doing activities to make them feel better. I've worked with a variety of patients from having a colostomy bag to using a lift.
