I was raised by my grandparents in Nebraska so my heart is in my work at all times it blooms with joy when I see a smile on an elders face. I revere their wisdom and knowledge every moment while caring for them. I love hearing stories of old times told by the people I care for. I love to cook and I have read many cookbooks and enjoy doing so. My grandma taught me well! I have a QMAP certificate so I am able to administer medication to your loved one. I have 7 1/2 years' experience and joy in caring for seniors in in-home care and assisted living facilities. I have managed 2 assisted living facilities was trained by the LPN who owned them for 37 years. I have taken care of 10 amazing seniors at one time for 2 1/2 years and exceeded their special needs. I have given my heart and care to quadriplegics, paraplegics, brain injury, dementia, Alzheimer's, ALS, MS, Parkinson's, Lewy body dementia, renal failure, Foley catheters, cancer patients, diabetics, heart disease, COPD, asthma, and pneumonia clients. I am well-versed in the machines used to care for seniors and O2 equipment.
