Hello, My name is Theresa Fox and I am a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist. My passion in life is serving people of all levels of abilities. People often ask me why I became a recreational therapist, and I always respond with, "I just love to help people". My journey to becoming a rec therapist was a long one, but once I discovered this profession I knew for sure that it was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Working with people to help them achieve overall well-being is such a fulfilling profession. Being in the outdoors is also something that I love, which fortunately ties in wonderfully with rec therapy. Working for the US Adaptive Recreation Center has provided an amazing outlet for me to fulfill my dreams of working with people with disabilities in the outdoors. Being a caregiver is something I am very passionate about and have a lot of experience in and I am very flexible to serving people in whatever they need. I love what I do, and I do what I love. And to me, that is everything.
