I received my certified nurse's assistant certificate at Alvin Community College in Alvin, Texas. I have used my CNA and working since 2009 with all kinds of situations has made me into an on-time, compassionate, caring and self-less caregiver. I have experience with nephrostomy tubes, NG tubes and care/urostomy, colostomy and care as well as wound care. I am sufficient with various slings medical assisting devices such as lifts. I have 2 plus years with hands on ALS experience. I can cook and can administer medications. I have experience taking people to and from appointments or just a casual night out to eat without being in the way. I can schedule appointments. I am comfortable with diabetes and can administer insulin and other medications as well. I am used to the administration of narcotics and adverse effects of them as well. I have been with numerous hospice clients and use the upmost respect when caring for end of term life. I am used to various types of dementia, Alzheimer's, heart transplants, infectious diseases with proper PPE's provided by the family of course.
