My name is Melissa. I have been working with Elderly and Disabled people since age 9. I started by Volunteering at a Nursing home ,and then I volunteered to work with disabled people of all ages. I knew from a small age that I wanted to care for people of all types. I have always had a special passion for The Elderly. I wanted to be a caregiver and a Nurse because i enjoy working with people and I love having one on one interactions with people. I like that I get to make a difference in someone's life. I would describe my Personality traits as being very caring,polite,patient,very understanding, loving, compassionate, respectful, and Empathetic . A Personal Achievement I am proud of would be Getting into Nursing School, and completing my Bachelor's in Human Development and Family Studies.
